Description

Parks Seasonal Labourer:

Reporting to the Public Works Supervisors, the Parks Seasonal Labourer is responsible for performing general maintenance duties at outdoor sports fields, cleaning of washroom facilities, and litter/debris pickup from municipal property while ensuring attractive, orderly and well-maintained park areas to provide a pleasant outdoor environment for all users and visitors. This position is employed from May through October. Daytime, evening, weekend and holiday hours are required.

Parks and Roads Student Labourer:

Reporting to the Public Works Supervisors, the Parks and Roads Student Labourer is responsible for performing general maintenance duties at outdoor sports fields, cleaning of washroom facilities and litter/debris pickup from municipal property while ensuring attractive, orderly and well-maintained park areas to provide a pleasant outdoor environment for all users and visitors. Hours may vary depending on weather conditions.  This position is employed from May through August. Daytime, evening, weekend and holiday hours are required.

Note: The Municipality of Leamington’s health and safety standard requires all employees to have received at least two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine at least two weeks prior to entering or attending the workplace.
